Andrew Bogaard

Andrew is an undergraduate physics student and joined the lab in December 2006.

At the moment, Andrew's project utilizes the NEURON simulation environment to explore
network dynamics of biophysical model cells of Hodgkin-Huxley model equations.  Since
specific channel equations have been determined experimentally, we may explore how the
threshold dynamics of Type I and Type II excitable membranes affect behavior of
small-world networks.

Outside of lab, Andrew does his best not to focus on what he could be working on in lab.
When successful, he spends most of his time with a great group of friends in Ann Arbor.
