Higgs Searches at CDF The Higgs boson responsible for breaking the electroweak symmetry of the standard model has yet to be observed, and its discovery is one of the goals of Run II at the Tevatron. The current status of direct searches for the standard model Higgs boson at CDF in a variety of production and decay modes will be presented, along with the prospects for future discovery or exclusion. Searches for the Higgs bosons predicted by supersymmetric extensions to the standard model are also in progress at CDF, and their status and prospects will be described.
